Fremantle Port to Port Fun Run

Description: The Port to Port Fun Run is a major event that is part of the Fremantle festival calendar. It is designed to allow serious athletes, community runners and walkers along with families , schools and corporate teams to participate in a programme that offers a number of distances and challenges for all segments.
Goal: Raise funds for Redkite – Supporting Children through childhood cancer and the Rotary Club of Fremantle to enable them to continue making a difference in our community and the wider world. Additionally raise awareness of Redkite and Rotary club of Fremantles work

Christmas Cakes

Description: Each year the Rotary Club of Fremantle, as a major fund raiser, purchases christmas cakes and puddings for sale to local businesses and individuals

Goal: To raise funds to enable the Rotary Club of Fremantle to carry out its charitable work both locally and internationally, to assist in various youth programmes and promote understanding within the community


Golf Day

Description: The Rotary Club of Fremantle in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Attadale ran a golf day in early March. The golf day, sponsored by local businesses, was run as an ambrose event with teams of four. There were paticipants who were very serious about their golf and others who were out for a good day socialising. With a handicap system all participants had a chance at the hundreds of prizes donated.

Goal: To raise funds for the Rotary Cord Blood Bank. The Cord Blood Bank set a target of raising $6,000,000 for the construction of the building to store cord blood This target was achieved with the donation of $20,000 raised from the inaugural golf day.
